Our project and challenges

  • Our project was born in 2013

Our project was born in 2013 with the constant desire to give each employee the desire to express themselves, get involved and participate in this great adventure.

The challenges were numerous, and the difficulties of the first years removed, the system put in place was able to accommodate innovations intended to improve our footprint on the environment, reinforce the safety of our staff, work towards inclusion and the conditions in which our daily missions are carried out.

This could not be done without including in our reflections our customers, our partners and especially the transporters, very often singled out for their production of CO, with whom we have developed solutions to work, at our level, to make our environment, both local and global, more serene.

 

Health and Safety as a prerequisite

  • In 2023 we took strong action

In 2023 we took strong action on the priority pillar of health and safety at work. Indeed, in our professions, there are multiple risks of accidents.

The other pillars cannot be built without this prerequisite.

We attach particular importance to safety (risk prevention): on the sites every day before the start of activities, all staff participate in a collective warm-up and a reminder of the safety rules.

The goal is to consolidate group cohesion and living well together.

Physical integrity: during high-value operations

  • Workspace and security

We must also offer a workspace that guarantees the physical safety of our staff, in a difficult environment, marked by news events and the increase in robberies of warehouses and transport vehicles.

AXE Group has invested nearly 430,000 euros over the last three years for the integrity of its site fences, controlling access, and ensuring the movement of our staff.

The traceability of vehicles and mobile personnel is entirely monitored by mobile trackers and appropriate applications, with some of our technicians starting their day very early or returning very late.

DEVELOPMENT of Human Capital

  • Skills and an exchange of experience

Our internal training courses enable skills development and an exchange of experience.

External training in foreign languages ​​(Chinese French, English) and use of office tools (EXCEL) provides enrichment and expertise to our employees.

Internal development brings stability to teams, an increase in the skills of our employees, perspective and progressive remuneration. The current team managers all started as trainers, progressed and then were given management responsibility. Parity between women and men is respected.

Valuing people allows us to highlight the recruitment and hiring of people with disabilities. This concern is more developed on certain sites depending on the type of tasks entrusted by our customers.

Protection of l’environment

  • Equipment et transport

In 2023 77% of our sites are fully equipped with LED light sources at the same time as the outlets (skydomes) have been changed to diffuse maximum natural light

In 2023, gas heating was replaced by heat pumps and low-consumption radiators when the premises were not ducted for 3 of our sites.

We have installed GTB equipment to better observe and regulate our consumption on two of our sites.

All our team members are equipped with jackets or vests with high-performance insulating membranes.

We discuss solar equipment with our owners but we are dependent on their decisions.

We work on continuous improvement with our carriers for a delivery rate from the first presentation, thus avoiding having to move the delivery vehicle again. We improved this rate by 11% in 14 months.
